Cookie Policy
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that visited websites send to the user's device (computer, tablet, smartphone), where they are stored and then retransmitted to the same sites on the next visit. Cookies allow the site to function correctly, remember user preferences and collect aggregate statistical information about site usage.
Similar technologies (web beacons, pixel tags, local storage) may be used for the same purposes and are subject to the same rules provided for cookies.
2. Types of cookies used
2.1 Technical cookies (essential)
These cookies are essential for the correct functioning of the Site and to allow the user to browse and use basic features. They do not require prior user consent pursuant to art. 122 of the Privacy Code.
- Session cookies: used to manage the browsing session;
- Preference cookies: store the selected language and cookie consent choices;
- bs-cookie-consent: stores the user's preference on analytical cookie consent (duration: 12 months).
2.2 Analytical cookies
The Site uses an internal analytics system that collects aggregated information on the number of users and how they visit the Site (pages visited, language, browsing path). These cookies and related technologies are activated only with the user's explicit prior consent through the dedicated banner.
- Internal analytics: collects visited page and language. Data is processed in aggregate form and does not allow direct user identification. Duration: session.
2.3 Profiling and third-party cookies
The Site does not use its own profiling cookies nor, at present, third-party cookies aimed at advertising profiling.
3. Consent management
On first access to the Site, a banner is shown allowing the user to:
- Accept all cookies, including analytical ones;
- Accept only essential technical cookies.
The preference is stored locally and can be changed at any time by clearing browser data, after which the banner will be shown again.
4. How to manage cookies in the browser
Users can also manage cookies directly from their browser settings, authorising, blocking or deleting them (in whole or in part). Note however that disabling technical cookies may compromise the correct functioning of the Site.
